Audiences get an inside look at the magic of Hollywood at Universal Studios' Special Effects Stages. Universal casts for the following roles:
Hosts-Comedic, improv actors who can read an audience well and interact with individual guests while performing.
Requirements: Quick witted, funny male and female hosts with improv experience.
All performers hired for Special Effects Stages will be covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists.
FEAR FACTOR LIVE at Universal Studios HollywoodSM

See if you have what it takes to help our guests take part in the most extreme audience participation show ever - Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios®. It's unscripted, unpredictable, and unlike anything you've ever seen before. Universal casts for the following roles:
Hosts/Producers-Confident and athletic men and women with excellent comic timing and ability to provide quick-witted audience and contestant interplay.
Requirements: The Hosts and Producers must make smart, show-appropriate choices as they provide smooth "play-by-play" narration of the stunts while they are being performed.
Casting Directors-Quick witted men and women who can cast the Fear Factor Live show from park guest volunteers.
Requirements: Must be able to convey important information in an entertaining way.
All performers hired for the Casting Director position will be covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists.
Warm-up Performers-Male and female performers with improv/audience warm-up experience. These roles often double as Atmosphere improv performers and are cast by Atmosphere Entertainment. Please check the Atmosphere Audition Schedule for improv auditions.
Requirements: Must be able to entertain and excite a crowd while following specific show directions and cues.
All performers hired for the Warm-up Performer position will be covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists.
THE BLUES BROTHERS

The Blues Brothers Show is a soulful journey back to the streets of Chicago. Featuring classic R&B songs performed by Jake and Elwood Blues, Curtis, and Wanda, this show has guests dancing in the streets as they enjoy the hits from the movie. Universal casts for the following roles:
Jake Blues
The lead singer of the Blues Brothers, who is on a mission to get the band back together after a recent stay in an Illinois prison.
Requirements: Resemble Jake Blues. Male singer (tenor) who can dance. 5'8" - 5'11" 180-225 lbs.
Elwood Blues
Jake's "matter-of-fact" brother. He brings an off-beat and spontaneously stiff energy to the band.
Requirements: Resemble Elwood Blues. Male singer (bass/baritone), who can dance. Tall and slender build. 6'0" - 6'2" 180-200 lbs.
Wanda
The jilted waitress, she is bossy, loud and wants no part of the new Blues Brothers band.
Requirements: Afro-American female. Excellent R & B singer (alto/mezzo soprano) who moves well.
Curtis
Wanda's new boyfriend and a former band member of the Blues Brothers. He wants to rejoin the band, but he has to sweet talk Wanda into letting him.
Requirements: Afro-American man. Excellent R & B singer (Lyric baritone) who moves well.
